Introduction to Gas Alarm Life Safety System

The gas alarm life safety system is designed to monitor the distribution and processing system of internal gases in FAB. This system also monitors toxic and flammable gas leaks and indicates system interlock shutdown and escape alarms. This way, the operator can monitor the status of these devices and also record work information from the central monitoring system and human-machine interface. It achieves real-time monitoring of gas delivery systems through computer networks to ensure system stability.




The principle of gas leak alarm

Using electrochemical sensors to directly react with the measured gas in the environment through diffusion to generate linear voltage signals. The circuit is composed of multiple integrated circuits, and the signal is amplified, A/D converted, and temporarily stored to directly display the measured gas concentration value on the LCD screen. When the gas concentration reaches the pre-set alarm value, the buzzer and LED will emit sound, light, and vibration alarm signals.

The detectors installed on site are powered by the controller for operation. When gas leakage occurs, the sensor converts the leakage amount into a corresponding voltage signal output, and the electrical signal is processed by the detector and uploaded to the controller. After receiving it, the controller parses the data and displays it on the screen. When the concentration reaches the set action value, the controller issues an alarm and drives the external device.

How to operate gas detection alarm

Gas detection alarms are generally used in conjunction with special gas cabinets, valve distribution boxes, and other equipment. Due to the high risk of gas leakage, gas detection alarms need to be equipped to detect gas leaks through detectors and transmit them to the central control. The central control automatically responds with linked sound and light alarms and emergency stop functions, promptly shutting down the gas source and evacuating personnel to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment. Gas detection and alarm devices can also prevent accidents such as fires, explosions, and poisoning by driving exhaust, cutting off, and spraying systems, thereby achieving protective functions for safe production.
